St. Augustine Beach Florida
Anastasia Island is over twenty miles of waterfront property. Saint Augustine Beach is on the northern part of the island with Crescent Beach to the south. The island is wider up near St. Augustine Beach allowing more room for homes and businesses. The lot sizes for oceanfront homes tend to be smaller than those at Crescent Beach. A typical beachfront home at Saint Augustine Beach would have frontage of 50 to 60 feet. Oceanfront homes at Crescent Beach have up to 100 frontage and are deeper lots. There is not as many intracoastal front homes in St. Augustine Beach as there is at Crescent Beach. One of the older riverfront neighborhoods at St. Augustine Beach is Davis Shores. Some of the newer waterfront homes are located at Pelican Reef and Ocean Palms. There are more intracoastal front homes at Crescent Beach. One of the newer riverfront communities at Crescent Beach is called " Espanita " It's located at the middle of Crescent Beach. Just across the Matanzas Inlet is a waterfront community know as Summer Island. There are many other waterfront homes in the area.
